And we'll be at the Beaverton Farmers Market this Saturday, too! What a wild few days. We are hoping that you all are doing okay through this. #supportyourfarmers #farmtotable #icestorm

Luckily our wood stove is going great, because we couldn’t get the generator going. We appreciate your patience over the next few days! We won’t be able to check or respond to messages well. We hope you are doing ok with your own ice and power situations. (Any posts you see over the next couple days are coming from Evelyn who is up in Beaverton and has power and internet still.) ❄️
The Beaverton Farmer's Market is canceled Saturday The Beaverton Farmer's Market is canceled Saturday, February 13th because of the possibility of ice! Our family loves snow and we have done a couple of markets in the snow. However, ice can be dangerous for our customers, staff and ourselves. For that reason, the market is canceled and we are staying home this Saturday. We will snuggle some baby goats and prepare for our upcoming Stanford trip. Our booth will be back in action Saturday, February 20th. We are adding extra spots to the Beaverton-area home delivery on Thursday, February 18th. Order form link is in our bio on Instagram, and at the top of our Facebook page in the “Quick Links” post.

Thank you for your understanding and stay safe and warm! ❄️

THANK YOU everyone for your help with our Californ THANK YOU everyone for your help with our California housing for John and Patty’s kidney surgeries. We found a lovely house 10 minutes from the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. With our housing, airfare, and car rental all booked, we can breathe a sigh of relief that logistics are covered and we are ready for transplant. Surgery is March 17, and we will go down for a mandatory quarantine period 10 days before.

Thank you all again for your generosity towards our family and farm. We appreciate you all so much.
✨This post is especially for friends or friends- ✨This post is especially for friends or friends-of-friends in the Bay Area, specifically Palo Alto.✨ We are trying to find a house or apartment to rent during John and Patty’s kidney surgeries at Stanford. Patty will be donating a kidney and John will be receiving it. We have our flights and a car reserved, but we are having trouble finding any options for a short-term house to rent. We will be in Palo Alto for the surgeries from March 7-April 24. The surgery date is March 17, and we will be coming down for a mandatory quarantine period ten days beforehand (we—Patty and Mike—will be fully vaccinated, but the quarantine is still mandatory pre-surgery). If you know of any options or friends who might know, please share our post or email patty@lonelylanefarms.com. Thank you all! 💓

NEW JOHN UPDATE. 💕 Visit COTAforJohnsJourney.co NEW JOHN UPDATE. 💕 Visit COTAforJohnsJourney.com for the latest. Coronavirus continues to impact our kidney transplant plans. We were almost scheduled for the end of this month, but with virus cases continuing to rise, our medical team is choosing to wait. Read a lot more about it on our COTA site (link in bio on Insta).

For John’s birthday today we went for a walk at the Mount Angel Abbey wearing our John’s Journey Fun Run shirts. We were checking on the new baby goats! Light blue is John’s favorite color, which is why the shirts are blue. We LOVE seeing everyone wearing them and coloring the coloring page.

Fun Run is extended through next Sunday—we can’t wait to share more photos. 🌈
