Mike still loves to play with his food, and with running the farm and feeding ourselves and our son John, sometimes simple and funny is all we have time for. 🙂 This smiley face features our smoked bratwurst with sauerkraut eyebrows, mashed potato eyes, corn nose, and a beautiful smoked bratwurst smile ?. It was dinner after a busy day putting orders together.

By the way, this bratwurst is delicious with sauerkraut any time of year (maybe we love it so much because of our German roots), but our favorite way to cook it is grilled. All of our sausages are free of most major allergens, and are hand-crafted at our USDA-inspected processing plant on the farm, which is rare for a family farm–and we’re very proud of it.
